Students at Kalar International School Go on a Fun Picnic
Students in grades 3 to 6 at Kalar International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, went on a picnic on December 10, 2016, organized by the SABIS Student Life Organization®.
Students with zero infractions were invited to visit the village of Sangar on the banks of the Sirwan River. The area had lovely landscapes of greenery and clean running water. Some students helped the teachers prepare lunch while others participated in different fun activities. Then everyone had lunch and went home after a full day of fun activities.
The purpose of this activity was to encourage students to work hard and help their peers study harder in order to participate in other fun events. “It was an amazing activity. My children talked happily about the picnic and how they spent an enjoyable time with their friends,” said a parent.
