Kalar Students Learn About Road Safety
Grade 2 through 4 students at Kalar International School learned about traffic safety as part of the event Traffic Club on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Accompanied by videos, presenter Captain Karzan taught students the role of traffic police and the right way to behave on the road. Karzan also explained the negative effect of littering while driving and how to properly use a seatbelt. Towards the end, students recounted their own driving stories and were handed a booklet including all the rules of the road which they shared with their families.
Traffic Club benefited students by increasing awareness of road safety issues and influenced them to have better driving behavior. Afterwards, parents and students thanked the Student Life Coordinator for organizing the club and educating them on traffic laws.
