Kalar Hosts KG 1 Welcome Party at School

The SABIS Student Life Organization^®’s Lower School Department at Kalar International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, organized a welcome party for KG1 students on January 21, 2017.

When the students arrived to school in the morning they were warmly welcomed by teachers and the lower school prefects. Then the students participated in a face painting activity and a dancing activity. Some of the school staff dressed up as cartoon characters and danced with the students, which made the students very happy. Towards the end of the party the students enjoyed cake and juice prepared by the school.

The purpose of this activity was to welcome the new students to their school and help them become acquainted with the school environment. It was also a nice way to show students how much fun school could be and become excited about returning the next day. “It was very important party that made my child want to come to school the next day,” said a parent.
