Kalar Holds Sports Day for Grade 2 Students

Grade 2 students at Kalar International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a Sports Day organized by the SABIS Student Life Organization’s^® (SLO^®) Sports and Health Department on November 5, 2016.

The students arrived to the school on the Saturday and were asked to line up nicely so they could hear about the games and receive instructions for the day. The students were then divided into groups so they could enjoy the different activities planned for them. After such an active and playful day the students had lunch and waited for their parents to pick them up.

The purpose of this activity was to give students a chance to be active in an exciting and organized environment. It was a very happy weekend that the students truly appreciated. “It was very interesting and exciting as we did many physical activities,” said a student.
