Kalar 1st Graders Participate in Coconut Vowels Activity
In order to improve the students’ spelling skills, the Student Life Coordinator (SLC) at Kalar International School organized a Coconut Vowels activity for the 1st graders from January 22-29, 2014.
For the activity, students were divided into 3 groups. Then, the SLC asked 1 student from each group to spell a word with correct left-out vowel. The student who got the word correctly in the least amount of time earned a point.
The 1st graders enjoyed this activity and asked the SLC to organize more academic activities in the near future.
