KALAR STUDENTS ENJOY A PICNIC

On December 15, 2018, grades 5-8 students at Kalar International School a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, were rewarded for their excellent behavior throughout the term.

Students who had no infractions throughout Term 1 enjoyed a picnic at Piaza Jar Village with the Student Life Coordinator and the Activities Coordinator. Students were thanked for their outstanding behavior and were asked to lead by example to encourage their classmates to do the same. The picnic was filled with funny activities and games and the students enjoyed a fun time with their friends. After lunch was over, they took pictures while waiting for their parents to pick them up.

The purpose of this activity was to appreciate students who worked hard on having good behavior during the term. It also proved to be a good way to encourage other students to work as hard in the coming term. “It was a great activity that encouraged me to be an outstanding student and to work with my friends as a team and to assist others who might need my help,” said a student.
