Kalar KG2 Students Get Creative on Painting Day

KG2 students at Kalar International School, a SABIS® Network school, let their imaginations run wild as they drew pictures for Painting Day on Saturday, January 17, 2015. During the event, students were separated into small groups and given a variety of coloring materials to use on blank canvases. Afterward, they cleaned up and talked with their friends about the drawings at lunch.

Parents were really happy to see their children express themselves creatively and learn about the different usage of colors.  Children drew pictures using a wide variety of colors which revealed information about their concepts and feelings.

“They enjoyed the day and, the parents also enjoyed spending a colorful day with their children. It was an interesting activity for the parents and the students,” a teacher said. Students from KG2 took their colorful works of art home as a gift for their family.
