KALAR HOLDS SPORTS DAY FOR GRADE 2 STUDENTS

On January 12, 2019, Grade 2 students in Kalar International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a Sports Day organized by the SABIS Student Life Organization^® (SLO^®) Sports and Health Department.

The students arrived early to school and were lined up so they could hear about the games and the instructions on how to play them. They were then divided into five groups so they could take turns enjoying the different activities planned for them. The students enjoyed working as a team and really got into the spirit of the day. After a very energetic day the students had lunch and waited for their parents to pick them up.

The purpose of this activity was for the students to enjoy an exciting day with their friends. The students were given the space and time to interact with one building friendships, confidence and happy memories. “My child came back home very happy and excited. We really appreciate the school’s effort in providing the students with such great opportunities,” said a parent.
